Special Interest Courses

WVU Potomac State College offers occasional non-credit courses for those in the community interested in life-long learning opportunities. We share the expertise of our faculty in a wide range of interesting topics.

For spring 2018, the special interest course offering is:

This introductory course incorporates both classroom sessions and hands-on instruction in casting and fishing techniques and situations. Students will learn about equipment, knot tying, entomology (the bugs fish eat), reading the water, and on-stream tactics. Demonstrations in fly tying and rod building will also be given in classroom sessions. All necessary equipment will be provided by course instructors.
