Senior Citizen
Senior citizens of West Virginia (age 65 and older) who meet WVU residency requirements may take courses at WVU Potomac State College for reduced tuition and fees. Courses can be taken for credit or no credit.
How to Apply as a Senior Citizen
Complete the application for admission.
Contact the Office of Enrollment Services if you prefer to complete a paper application.
Indicate you are a non-degree student if you do not want to take courses for credit (no grade).
If you do want to earn college credit (with grades), choose the correct student type for you.
Once you have submitted the application for admission, please contact the Office of Enrollment Services at go2psc@mail.wvu.edu or 304-788-6820 to register for classes and to confirm if you wish to take the courses for credit or no credit.
Admission Requirements for Senior Citizens
- To be admitted as an undergraduate student you must have at least completed high school or the GED. This is the case if you want to take courses for credit ( grade) or no credit ( no grade).
