New Student Orientation (NSO) events are opportunities for first-time freshmen to visit campus to take the next step toward enrollment for the fall semester. All first-time freshman students are required to attend.
At NSO you can:
- Speak to an academic advisor to learn more about your major and discuss your course
schedule.
- Meet with a financial aid counselor to discuss your financial aid package.
- Reserve a room in one of our residence halls.
- Get all your questions answered to prepare for the fall semester.

Who should participate?
All admitted first-time freshmen and transfer students are required to participate in New Student Orientation. Parents, guardians, and spouses are welcome to attend.
