Steps to Complete

1. Check your email for an activation email from Okta. The activation email will be sent to the address you provided on your admissions application.
2. To activate your WVU Login, follow the steps provided in the Okta activation email. You will then receive the information needed to access WVU Portal.         
   
3. Please contact the  WVU IT Service Desk  for assistance or troubleshooting. We also have  answers to common questions  about WVU Portal.
Does your family want access to your records? Give them access using the  WVU Parent/Guest Portal.

Tips

• You will use WVU Portal to access STAR, DegreeWorks and eCampus — all important online programs. Through the Portal, you can send and receive email, pay tuition and fees, and check your grades.
• You can use the  WVU Parent/Guest Portal to grant permission to a parent or guardian or a guest so they can make payments or access your student records, such as grades, financial aid details and student/billing information.
• Check your WVU email regularly. We will send information about housing registration, important deadlines, etc., to your WVU email address.
