Veterans

Programs

WVU Potomac State College offers opportunities for the veteran who chooses to enroll on our campus. These have been established and continue to be enhanced in recognition of the contributions that veterans have made in service to our country and that they continue to make as members of the WVU family. Some examples of these opportunities include:

  • Veterans Lounge – Located in Davis Hall, the veterans lounge is available as a location for you to meet other student veterans and have dedicated space to study and hang out between classes.
  • Priority course registration – Veterans and their dependents are eligible to begin registration for upcoming terms one week prior to the general student population. This allows you to select courses at convenient times for your schedule.
  • Reserved parking spaces – several parking spaces around campus are reserved for use by veterans. Stop by the Office of Student Experience in the Administration Building to pick up the required tag.

Application Process

If this is your first time attending college,  follow the process for first-time freshmen.  If you have attended another college since graduating from high school, follow the process for transfer students.
